A petition to renew “The Way Home” for a fourth season is gaining momentum fast, with more than 620 people already signing the petition in just a few days. And among the signatories is one of the series showrunners. Fans are hoping to get renewal news soon, as the show is just a few weeks away from its season 3 finale.
Below we’ll not only share more about signing and sharing the petition, but also other ways that you can help promote the show and encourage Hallmark to renew it.
How to Sign the Petition

Fans are signing it fast. Just the other day when I looked, there were fewer than 100 signatures. Now there are 624 and growing.
The petition reads:
“The Way Home is a beloved television show airing on the Hallmark Channel, well-regarded for its captivating storyline and character development. Despite vast popularity, its future now hangs in the balance as Hallmark has yet to announce season 4. According to Nielsen ratings, The Way Home has consistently delivered strong viewership since its inception, which only illustrates its potential for success and cultural impact (Source: Nielsen). By renewing The Way Home for season 4, Hallmark would not only be satisfying its loyal fan base, but also perpetuating quality TV. Let’s show Hallmark Channel the fervent support for this show. Please sign this petition and help us advocate for the renewal of The Way Home for a fourth season.”
Unfortunately, the show isn’t renewed just yet. In a public Facebook Way Home fans group run by this website, one group member shared that Jordan Doww responded to her on TikTok on February 17, revealing the show was not yet renewed. She asked, “please tell me there will be a season 4…” and he said, “we are all dying to know as well 😭😭 but if we do get the green light… I’ll be back.”
Promote the Show on Social Media
Shannon Combs, a fan who is active in promoting the show and helping it trend on social media, told us that posting about the show while it airs is one of the easiest things fans can do to show Hallmark how much interest there is.
If you’re on the X platform, watch the show live and tweet about “The Way Home” using the hashtag #thewayhome to help it trend.
If you’re not on X anymore, you can do this on other platforms like Blue Sky, TikTok, Facebook or Instagram. X is one of the most popular because it’s so easy to see what’s trending live and use that to show Hallmark the level of interest in the show. “When Calls the Heart” fans do this every season (if the show isn’t renewed early) during the last few weeks of the season, to help show interest.
Write Hallmark
Another thing you can do is write Hallmark and let them know how much you want to see the show renewed! You can email them at [email protected] and let them know how much you’d love to see the show renewed. Also, reply to their posts on social media and let them know how much you want to see the show come back!
