With Hallmark’s Loveuary movies starting tomorrow with a heavy focus on Jane Austen novels, fans are understandably eager to find out if a third Mr. Darcy movie will be featured this year. Ryan Paevey and Cindy Busby are indeed ready for a third installment; however, the Mr. Darcy movie announced on the Hallmark channel seems to be an entirely different movie, not part of the series.
Paging Mr. Darcy does not star Paevey or Busby, Despite Early Reports Wrongly Indicating that Busby Was Involved
Paging Mr. Darcy stars Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp. The movie isn’t based on the Jane Austen novels but rather on fans of the books themselves. The synopsis reads along the lines of when a scholarly individual (played by Jansen), known for their seriousness, participates in a Jane Austen annual conference, an unexpected agreement with the actor portraying Mr. Darcy (Kemp) leads to a transformation in both her outlook and emotions.
The movie will air on the Hallmark channel on Saturday, February 3, at 8p.m./7p.m. c.
Part of the confusion surrounding Ryan Paevey and Cindy Busby is that some early articles had indicated that Busby was starring in “Paging Mr. Darcy,” but Paevey was not. Inside Ottaway Valley, back in October, reported that “Paging Mr. Darcy” would star Busby. This led to a lot of confusion about a revival of her “Mr. Darcy” series without Paevey. But this information ended up not being correct.
What about a Third Mr. Darcy Movie?
Ryan Paevey hasn’t shared any recent news about a third Mr. Darcy movie; however, in a 2022 TV insider interview, Paevey shared that he and co-star Busby were ready for it. “We’ve been ready to go since we walked off the set of number 2. I’m in. I know Cindy [Busby] is in. I can probably call Frances [Fisher] and see if she would want to join us for a few days. I think we’re good to go. It’s a question of if the powers-that-be want to do another one. I know fans are pumped about the potential.”
Both actors played leading roles in Unleashing Mr. Darcy (2016) and Marrying Mr. Darcy (2018), modern-day spins on Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice.
Neither actor has commented on a third movie following the same characters since, and it doesn’t look like Hallmark has any plans on doing so any time soon. If they are, it’s very hush-hush!
What is Ryan Paevey Up to?
6 days ago, Paevey shared a picture on his Instagram account that a new piece of jewelry would be hitting his store soon. He commented, “Heeeey, here’s that braided metal cuff with some extra layers to make it fancy. Sterling silver, will be in the next release at www.fortunatewanderer.com in March, date to be announced. Join the mailing list to be notified about all the fun stuff. 🤙🏽”
Paevey founded Fortunate Wanderer for those who wanted to buy his photography, and the website has since expanded into handmade wearables in large collections. The qebsite quotes “As a Wanderer, you experience new places, new things, new people. You observe, you capture images, you find unique trappings that remind you of your journey once you’re back home. Fortunate Wanderer has begun to build a brand for other Wanderers of the world, offering everything a wanderer should have for their adventures – inspiration, gear, and trappings that become trimmings.”
Check out the collection that varies from apparel to rings, pendants, cuffs, and more.
As far as movies go, Ryan can be seen in his most recent movie Under The Christmas Sky with co-star Jessica Parker Kennedy.
