There, Ji-yeong finds herself in the perilous realm of palace politics, where her ability to cook becomes her only source of support. King Lee Yi Heon (Lee Chae-Min), a young king infamous for his despotism and troubled by the death of his mother, is impressed by her. Rather than being forever perceived as the suspicious outsider, Ji-yeong is chosen to be the king’s royal chef, and from there needs to decide if she should stay in the past or go back to her regular life. A true romance of creative energies coming together, sprinkled with a pinch of comedy, the series Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is directed by Jang Tae-yoo (Knight Flower), whose vision envelops every scene in longing and grace.

Filming began this year in January 2025, and the first episode aired on August 23rd. At this date, two episodes are ready for you on Netflix and there are a total of 12 episodes planned, each releasing one by one on Saturdays and Sundays.
